 The Materialfox is a powerful and flexible instrument for measuring moisture and recording the moisture status of a wide range of materials. Measurements can be taken either with the cone-headed measuring probes or two alligator measuring clips, attached to the test object. In the case of wood, the immediate readout gives the moisture content in percent (% WME = wood moisture equivalent) or a precise value of the wood's current electrical resistance. This makes it possible to make precise statements regarding the condition of the material. While measuring the material moisture, the room temperature and air humidity surrounding the material can also be measured at the same time using a "Thermo-Hygro-Sensor". |

Properties:
- Two pairs of external alligator measuring clips can be connected
- Standard cable length: 1m per channel
- External "Thermo-Hygro-Sensor" can be connected (see also: "Fire Adapter")
- "Cone-headed measuring probes" can be connected
- Logging mode: Readings are stored automatically (standard)
- Button mode: Readings are stored by pressing a button
- Resistance / resistivity: 20 kOhm to 500 MOhm ( 10*log(R) )
- Wood moisture of pinewood or wood moisture equivalent (WME): 15% - 80%
- Measuring and storing rhythm (1 second to 24 hours) freely adjustable via pc software
- Stores 4,000 readings (option: 64,000), sufficient for several years, depending on the interval
- Alarm output for SMS alarm system, acoustic alarm system, telephone alarm system etc.
- Measuring data preserved via EEPROM memory even without batteries
- Crystal oscillator controlled real-time clock and real-time calender integrated
- Data logger dimensions: 11 x 6 x 2 cm (h x w x d), 100g including batteries
