Disposal of old Equipment

Disposal of old or defective measurement devices:

Old measurement devices do not belong in the normal company waste or household waste! Old electrical devices contain valuable resources that can be recovered and reused in recycling processes. In addition, they may also contain harmful substances that must not be released into the environment under any circumstances.

Electrical Devices Trash CanAs a rule of thumb, all products that use electrical energy in any form are considered to be electrical devices. Look for the dedicated symbol of the "crossed-out trash can". This indicates that it is indeed a valuable electrical device. You can find this special symbol either on the product itself, its packaging or in the user instructions.

The "crossed-out trash can on wheels" on your electrical and electronic measurement devices therefore indicates that the old equipment must not be disposed of with the normal company waste or household waste, but must be collected separately.

You have the option of returning old, defective or no longer used systems directly to the headquarters of the Scanntronik Mugrauer GmbH. As a business customer, please pay the postage for the package with the old systems and send it back to the following address:

Scanntronik Mugrauer GmbH
Parkstr. 38
D - 85604 Zorneding
Germany

Please note, that as a business customer, we will charge you a fee of € 4.99 net for the professional disposal of each returned old electrical equipment.

For a smooth disposal process, we would like to ask you to briefly contact us before you send back your old electrical equipment. You can do this very easily by email or by phone.

Please also note the following information:

Normal batteries and rechargeable batteries that are not permanently installed in the measurement devices (e.g. in the data loggers) must be removed for safety reasons before you send back your old devices. Please dispose of the old batteries separately.

Your data belongs to you! Therefore, before you send back old devices, please make sure to delete any personal or sensitive data present on the old devices.

Old devices that have been sent back to us can no longer be returned to you. All measurement data is lost!

There will be no refund of the purchase price, residual value or any other compensation.
